Arthur Treptow, age 66 of Elcho, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Friday, May 2, 2008 at his residence.

Memorial funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, Wisconsin with Reverend Dennis Schueler officiating. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.

Arthur was born January 20, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Bernard A. and LaVerne (Staar) Treptow. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was later honorably discharged. In April of 1988 he married Carol (Cook) Thorsen in Portage, Wisconsin. Following retirement they moved to Elcho where they have resided for over ten years.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Carol; sons, William (Sandi) Thorsen of Marshall, Wisconsin and Carlton (Kris) Thorsen of Lake Delton, Wisconsin; a daughter, Lorrie Thorsen of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; a brother, Richard B. Treptow of Lake Geneva; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
