Catherine Stowell, age 88 of Lake Delton, Wisconsin died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton with Reverend Steven Keller officiating. Burial will be at the Lake Delton Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.

Catherine was born September 4, 1919 in New Ulm, Minnesota the daughter of Elmer and Blanche (Smith) Johnson.

Catherine is survived by her daughters, Anna Belle (Henry) Wedekind and Sharon Schwieger both of Baraboo and Kathleen (Henry) Braun and Mary Kay (John) Prindle both of Wisconsin Dells; a sister, Mary Truelove of Denver, Colorado; 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 husbands; a son, James Hames; a daughter, Patricia Black; a brother, Kenneth Johnson and a sister, Margaret Ann Cramer.
