Dorothy Dehler, age 88, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin. According to her wishes no service will be held. Private interment will be held at a later date. Dorothy was born December 31, 1919 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin the daughter of Virgil and Katherine (Schlageter) Scott. In October of 1952 she married Glenn Dehler. He preceded her in death in April of 1984. Dorothy was a beautician, starting her career in Sauk City and then working at Charm Beauty Shop in Wisconsin Dells for many years. Dorothy and Glenn also operated a hardware store in Lake Delton until moving to Madison. They returned to Lake Delton to enjoy their retirement years. Dorothy is survived by her step-daughter, Connie Lesnik of Wind Lake, WI; step grandson, Spencer Lavallee; step great grandson, Mason Lavallee; sisters in law, Laura Mae Scott and Donna Scott; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, John, Robert and Daniel; twin brother, Donald and his wife, Emmy Lou; and a sister, Virginia Hall. |
