Dorothy Grant, age 91 of Oxford, Wisconsin died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Divine Savior Extended Care in Portage, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oxford Funeral Home in Oxford with Reverend Robert Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Oxford Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Dorothy was born June 4, 1916 in Marquette County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Page and Catherine (Fullmer) Neale. In April of 1956 she married Willard Grant in Iowa. Besides being a hard working farm wife, Dorothy had worked at Brakebush candling eggs prior to automation; she was a fire warden for Marquette County for 45 years; and she was active with the elections boards for Oxford Township.

Dorothy is survived by a son, Lester “Butch” (Karen) Grant; daughters, Kathleen “Kay” Koehler and Karen (Carl) Lentz all of Oxford; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard; 2 sisters and a son in law, Bobb Koehler.
