Dorothy Svehlek, age 81 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died peacefully Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at her residence with her family by her side.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 27, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Monsignor Felix Oehrlein celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Friday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 10:30 A.M.

Dorothy was born November 26, 1925 in Richfield, Wisconsin the daughter of Ed and Helen (Conrad) Peters. In September of 1948 she married Giles A. Svehlek in Richfield, Wisconsin. Dorothy had a great affection for her Siamese cats and loved cooking and was a culinary artist in her own right.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Ken) Brozovich of Delafield, Wisconsin; a son, Guy (Joyce) Svehlek of Wisconsin Dells; a sister, Annette Weber of California; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Fred.
