Durlin Morse, age 45 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died unexpectedly Saturday, November 17, 2007. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Monsignor Felix Oehrlein and Reverend Craig Wolfgram co-celebrating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Visitation will be held at St. Cecelia Catholic Church School on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 3 to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 10:30 A.M. Durlin was born January 23, 1962 in Portage, Wisconsin the son of John and Patricia (Anderson) Morse. He grew up and attended schools in Wisconsin Dells and furthered his education at M.A.T.C. In February of 1987 he married Kay Corwith in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Durlin was the general manager of Morse Enterprises in Wisconsin Dells. He had also been a 15 year member of the Kilbourn Volunteer Fire Department and member of the New Haven Snow Streakers Snowmobile Club. Durlin loved his family, was a great father and husband and was very proud of his children and their accomplishments; was willing to help anyone at any moment; loved to cook and was an avid Nascar and Green Bay Packer fan. He also enjoyed working on his home and yard; going out west snowmobiling; loved boating and had an exceptional memory of people and names. Durlin will be greatly and dearly missed. Durlin is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Jack Kyle; daughter, Mackenzie; parents, John and Patricia Morse; brother, Daniel and a sister, Kim (Robert John) Field all of Wisconsin Dells and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Hazel Morse; maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Fern Anderson and step grandmother, Edith Anderson; uncle, Durlin Jack Morse and father in law, Dean Corwith. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to be designated later would be appreciated. |
