John “Rich” Campbell, age 49 of Baraboo, Wisconsin died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison, Wisconsin.

Memorial funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, Wisconsin with Reverend Greg Valentine officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until the time of service at 2 P.M.

Rich was born December 3, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Bill and Pat (Hammond) Campbell. He graduated from Wayzata High School and attended St. Cloud State University. In September of 1979 he married DeeDee Jonnson in Wayzata, Minnesota. Rich captured the love and affection of everyone he met. At the age of 21 he married the woman of his dreams and they shared 28 years of fairytale magic. Rich’s generous heart was adored and admired by his wife, children and grandchildren who were blessed to receive his devotion and unconditional love. Rich’s huge heart spilled over into the rest of his family as well. He was a caring and beloved husband, “dad”, son, brother, uncle and friend. His love followed him to a successful 27 years with Ecolab. Rich will be missed dearly by so many.

Rich is survived by his wife, DeeDee; son, Jason Campbell and daughter, Jessica Campbell both of Plantation, Florida, daughters, Tanya Campbell of Baraboo and Terra (Casey) Zdenek of Corunna, Michigan; parents, Bill and Pat Campbell of Green Valley, Arizona; a sister, Margie (Jim) Charlebois of Silver Creek, Minnesota; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wildlife Science Center of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
