Karen Broniszewski, age 59 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, Illinois with Father Francis Kamp officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home of Lake Delton, Wisconsin on Friday, August 31, 2007 from 5 to 7 P.M. and on Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.

Karen was born January 7, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Francis and Elizabeth (Zobay) Woods. She was married to John E. Broniszewski and he preceded her in death in 1975. Karen worked for many years at Sears Roebuck and provided day care service for policemen and firemen families. In August of 2000 she moved to the Dells area with her dear friend, Daniel Reale.

Karen is survived by her friend, Daniel Reale; son, Mark of Schaumburg, Illinois and sister, Lolita Altmayer of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Grant Schinka.
