Morris Schnoor, age 86 of Lake Delton, Wisconsin died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Dennis Schueler officiating. Burial will be at the  Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Military Honors will be provided by the Harold B. Larkin American Legion Post 187.

Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 2:00 P.M .until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Trinity Lutheran Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00.

Morris was born November 23, 1921 in Florence, Nebraska, the son of Otto and Ruth (Kindred) Schnoor. In June of 1954 he married Jean (Zimmermann) in Chicago, IL. He was an inspector for the U.S. Postal Service. Bowling, stamp and coin collecting, soccer and dancing polka’s were among his favorite past times. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII and was a member of the Harold B. Larkin American Legion Post 187 of Wisconsin Dells.

Morris is survived by his wife Jean; sons, Lee (Anita) Schnoor of Rockton, IL and Bruce (Rhonda) of Machesney Park, IL; daughter, Laurie (Robert) Alvin of Wisconsin Dells; brother, Raymond (Julianna) of Niles, IL; sisters, Lillian “Dolly” (Richard) Mayer of Elk Grove Village, IL and Shirley (Thomas) Williams of Mokena, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Ronald Eugene and sister Elizabeth Hongoltz.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Wisconsin Dells, the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
