Randy L. Tallmadge, age 55 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Hess Memorial Hospital, Mauston, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 12:00 Noon. at Randy's residence of rural Lyndon Station at W1530 Cliff House Road with Randall Mann officiating. Burial will be at Blue Wing Cemetery near Tomah, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home of Lyndon Station on Tuesday October 30, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday at W1530 Cliff House Road from 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon. Randy was born April 9, 1952 in Baraboo, Wisconsin the son of Roger and Bernadine (Miner) Tallmadge. Following graduation from high school he began traveling to places such as Europe, South America, Germany, Greece, Scotland and Saudi Arabia. He was a member of the Medicine Lodge for 30 years, a member of the Sun Dance Society in Twin Buttes, North Dakota since 1992 and was a charter member of the Son’s of the American Legion #201 (S.A.L.). He was the leader and organizer of young boys and men to become members of this organization for Grassman, Sowle, Larsen and Senz Post #201 of the American Legion in Tomah, Wisconsin. Randy loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Bernadine; his fiancé, Kimberly Morris and her children Nathan and Krystal of Mauston; sons, Roger of Wisconsin Dells and Ryan of Pennsylvania; daughter, Tara Blackcoon of Wisconsin Dells; brother, Lance (Annie) of Wisconsin Dells; sisters, Roxanne (Leonard, Jr.) of Wisconsin Dells and Melanie (Felix, Jr.) Sainz of Phoenix, Arizona. He is further survived by his three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. |
