Ricky Schultz, age 58 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at his residence from complications related to his military service. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Davis Corners United Methodist Church in rural Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Steven Miller officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Ricky was born March 5, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of John and Beatrice (Johnson) Schultz. In 1967 he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam where he received 3 purple hearts and also suffered Agent Orange exposure. He was honorably discharged in 1970. In November of 1984 he married Kathleen Reich in Jefferson, Wisconsin. They lived in the Whitewater, Wisconsin area before moving to the Dells area where they have lived for the past 10 years. Ricky is survived by his wife, Kathleen; a son, Daniel (Gloria) Schultz of Arkansas; daughters, Kura Schultz of Wisconsin Dells, Chauntel (Dennis) VanZandt and Nancy Williams; his father, John Schultz of Madison, Wisconsin; brothers, David (Patty) Schultz of Hayward, Wisconsin; sisters, Debra Schultz and Pamela (John) Nunn both of Madison; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice and brothers, John, Jr. and Edward. |
