Robert Beghin, age 66 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at his residence in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Monsignor Felix Oehrlein celebrating. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells.

Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Robert was born June 28, 1941 in Baraboo, Wisconsin the son of Louis and Clara (Meyers) Beghin. Bob graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School and attended U.W. Stevens Point for 2 years. In 1962 he married Dorothy Hagen. At the age of 14, Bob took over the responsibilities of the farm which continues today into the 5^th generation. He also worked as a carpenter for 40 years with Bachmann Construction in Madison and held the title of project manager retiring in 2000. Following retirement Bob was elected to the Lyndon Town Board and served as a supervisor. As hard as he worked Bob always found time to go fishing, boating and camping with his family. He took great pride in accomplishing his dreams of preserving the family farms for his future generations. He loved walking the farm with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy; sons, Michael Beghin, Patrick (Kerry) Beghin and Scott Beghin all of Wisconsin Dells; daughter Kathleen (Leo) Czys of Mauston; brothers Ken and Don (Marion) of Mount Horeb; sister, Betty Nelson of Portage and his grandchildren Kyle, Michelle, Laura and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents.
