Mary L. Burns, age 84 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Crestview Nursing Home in New Lisbon, Wisconsin.

Memorial funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 5:30 P.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Reverend Dennis Schueler officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:30 until the time of the service at 5:30 P.M.

Mary was born March 10, 1928 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Liening) Bruns. She married William Burns on March 13, 1947 in Decatur, Illinois. She loved to crochet, read, cook, work puzzles and listen to country music, especially Gene Autry.

Mary is survived by her husband, William; sons, William “Butch” (Linda) Burns and David (Leann) Burns; daughters, Cheryl Klett (Ken Schneider), Patty (Kenny) Briggs and Beverly “Buzz” Barnes (Jimm Betz); 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a special niece and nephew, Randy and Gretchen Tennyson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
