Alan "Ollie" Henry, age 79, of Wisconsin Dells, WI passed away peacefully at his home, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, with his loving wife and sons by his side.

A Funeral Service for Ollie will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Tom presiding. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Ollie will be laid to rest at All-Saints Cemetery at 7748 County Rd H, Wisconsin Dells immediately following the service. A Celebration of Life for Ollie will be held at Trapper's Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells from 1:30 until 5:00 P.M. following the burial.

Ollie was born November 8, 1944, in Baraboo, the youngest child born to Clifford and Veva (Brown) Henry of Wisconsin Dells. As the youngest of six, Ollie loved to hang out with his 4 older brothers and be doted on by his only sister Jean. Ollie graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1963 and married the love of his life Judy Peasall on May 21, 1966, in Wisconsin Dells. Their marriage was blessed with two sons and later with 3 grandchildren, all of which Ollie considered to be his proudest accomplishment.

Shortly after high school Ollie went to work for his sister and brother-in-law at Balsmeider Distributing and was one of the company's leading salesmen for almost 25 years. He loved to make the rounds and visit with his accounts and catch up on all the gossip. In 1991 Ollie went to work for Tom Heller as his maintenance man/jack of all trades until his retirement in 2013.

Ollie loved everything hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and race car oriented and some of his favorite times were spent with his family at the "Hunting Shack", Fishing in Chetek, snowmobiling with his sons and grandkids, or attending races throughout the state and the US. He was a man's man and was short on words, but he had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke, which was usually at someone else's expense. His love for lobster and crab legs was well known and a family joke, because they were always ordered with French fries. He was the Patriarch of the family and will be dearly missed, but he is now at peace.

Ollie is survived by his loving wife of over 57 years Judy; sons, Mike (Melissa) Henry, Marc (Jody) Henry, beloved grandchildren, Brice, Corrin, Devon Henry; sister, Jean (Charles) Balsmeider; brother, Gerald (Lori) Henry;, brothers-in-law Fred (Teaata) Peasall, Jeff (Pam) Peasall and sister-in-law, Shirley Henry, along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends and his furry feline "Morty". He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Clarence (Tige) and Curt and brothers-in-law Mike and David.
