With deepest sorrow, we announce that Alex Janowiak, age 51, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend, passed peacefully in his sleep on October 28, 2021.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Eric Sternberg celebrating. A visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with Mass beginning at the church at 3:00 p.m.

Alex was born on June 25, 1970, Lipnica Wielka, Poland, the son of Wincenty and Anna (Pakos) Janowiak. The simplest pleasures in life brought him great joy. He loved golfing, biking, traveling and going on walks. His nieces and nephew will always remember the countless driveway basketball games they played. Alex also enjoyed sharing his creativity and art talents with them. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to everyone he met. May his memory remain in our hearts forever.

Alex will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Anna; sister, Renee (Derrick) Partlow; nieces, Ariana and Sade; nephew, Wynn. Alex will also be missed by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Alex was preceded in death by his father, Wincenty; maternal grandparents, Franciszek and Emilia (Bartos) Pakos, and paternal grandparents, Wendelin and Joanna (Lichosyt) Janowiak and his grandfather, Wincenty Janowiak.
