Barbara Jeanne Schulz, age 84, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Trinity Lutheran Church (728 Church Street) Wisconsin Dells, WI, with Pastor Matt Gehrke officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 12:00 P.M.

Barbara was born March 10, 1940, in Endeavor, Wisconsin, the daughter of Rudolph and Elayne (Russell) Hinze. Barbara attended schools in Endeavor and Portage, WI. She married John E. Schulz on October 15, 1970, and they had 6 children together. Over the next 53 years, 10 months and 11 days, in a testament to commitment, patience, forgiveness, and adoration, the couple grew closer every single day. The most important things in Barbara's life were her family and her church, and like God's love, her family loved her more than she  could possibly comprehend.

Barbara worked many years in the hospitality industry in the Dells area, in both restaurants and lodging. She retired in 2000 from the Wilderness Resort & Hotel.

Barbara is survived by her husband John and her 6 children, Robin (Brian) Lawson of IL, Steven (Colleen) Schulz of WI, Angela (Don Collins) Schulz of AZ, William Schulz of WI, Sherri Lynn Schulz (Gugel) of WA, Kay (Kurtis) Barker of MT; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers, Robert (Betty) Hinze, Russell (Donna) Hinze, Randy (Jean) Hinze; sister and best friend Marilyn (Dan) Morgan, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and many good friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran School of Wisconsin Dells.
