Bridget Morris, age 51 of Thurston, Nebraska, walked on November 27, 2024.

A funeral service for Bridget will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at the Native American Church in Wisconsin Dells with Travis Cloud presiding. Visitation will be on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Native American Church from 3:00 until 5:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery following the service.

Bridget was born on December 28, 1972, in St. Paul, Minnesota. The daughter of James and Juanita (Cleveland) Whipple. The Pow-wow way of life was everything to her until the very end. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and supporting her husbands and sons to the fullest extent. She was God fearing and prayed for many families. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren brought a lot of healing and peace into her life. Her family was everything. She wore her heart on her sleeve and was the best friend to anyone who needed one. She was always there to provide a nonjudgmental shoulder to lean or cry on. She made tracks all across this land and touched the hearts of many.  We will always remember her.

Bridget is survived by her husband John and two sons James Morris Sr. and Robert Morris. She is also survived by her brother Chris Whipple and two sisters Vivian and Tanya and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Miracle Morris and sister Laverne.
