Carol Jean (Mike) Sandoval, (Heskekjeiga, Let It Be So) age 68 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin walked on Monday, March 28, 2022 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Native American Church, N881 Highway 12, Wisconsin Dells with Gregory Blackcoon officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Visitation will be held at the Native American Church on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 beginning at 3 p.m.

Carol was born July 6, 1953 in Wittenberg, Wisconsin the daughter of Howard and Gussie (Cloud) Mike. She grew up in the Wittenberg area and later relocated to Baraboo/Wisconsin Dells. In her early days she worked at factories, worked at HoChunk Casino beginning as a "cage cashier", attending to the bingo hall and last as a black jack dealer, and performed at the Stand Rock Indian Ceremonial. She stayed busy with arts and crafts and beadwork. While living in Texas she even started her own Native American fragrance line. Carol loved the outdoors especially Devils Lake, taking hikes, walking around and riding bicycle. She also enjoyed traveling and attending pow wows. The Native American Church was also special to her. Carol was always a hard worker and taking care of her family was very important. Her greatest passion was her family.

Carol is survived by a son, Callen Pidgeon; daughters, Cynthia Tack and Rebecca (Terrance) Davis; grandchildren, Rachel Thundercloud, Evelyn Funmaker, Samuel Funmaker and Jada Davis; a brother, Lionel Cloud and a sister, Sharon Prusia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Pidgeon; brother, Henry J. Mike; Teega, Harry Cloud and many other family members and friends.
