Cherish WhiteMouse Luxon, age 32 of Baraboo, WI walked on unexpectedly on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. at the Native American Church in Wisconsin Dells with Travis Cloud officiating. The burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Visitation will be held at Native American Church on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, beginning at 3:00 P.M.
Cherish was born August 20, 1992, in Flagstaff, Arizona, the daughter of Clinton GreenCrow and Lucinda LoneTree. She worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation as a women's recovery advocate. She enjoyed pow-wow dancing, she was a champion jingle dress dancer and made a lot of family and friends throughout Indian Country. Her hobbies included running, working out, dancing, reading, watching horror movies, playing with her dog Silas, decorating and organizing her home and listening to music. Most of all she enjoyed being a mother to her baby girl.
She is survived by her daughter Wicahpi Luxon, mother, Lucinda LoneTree; nephews Braven Roberts and Oak Roberts, her brothers Paul (Aissa) Roberts Jr., Anthony GreenCrow, Ansen Funmaker, Tohee Funmaker, Xander Decorah, Jaden Decorah, the Morris Brothers, John Jr., Chongai-La, Vernon, Chauncey, James, Shane and Robert, sisters Arianna GreenCrow, Ashley Funmaker, Amber Morgan, Tristine Decorah and Quincy Grittman, grandmother Georgia Lonetree, great-grandmother Myrtle Long, Grandmother Janine Houghton, Naani Michelle Funmaker, Naani Toni Funmaker, Naani Brittany Yazzie, Naani Nicole Yazzie, Naani Rogina Belle Houghton
Cherish is preceded in death by her father Clinton GreenCrow, grandmothers Corina LoneTree, Cecelia LoneTree, Betty GreenCrow and great-grandmother Elizabeth Deere.
