Christine Yontz, age 62, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, WI, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. with words of remembrance at 3:00 P.M.

Christine was born November 9, 1963 in Sandusky, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth Yontz and Jean Marshall. Christine was known for her sharp mind and her "never take no for an answer" attitude. In her younger years, she was the life of the party, a trait that eventually evolved into a calm, steady grace as she grew older. Her life was defined by her generosity; she was a natural caretaker who always put the needs of others before her own.

Christine's greatest legacy is the memories she meticulously crafted for her family. She loved warm-weather cruises and lavish vacations, ensuring her children and grandchildren experienced the beauty of the world together. She was quite the chef and loved trying new recipes, but more often she was inspired to create her own. One of her greatest joys was feeding her family and friends. A profound animal lover, she cared for her dogs with the same devotion she showed her family. Her strength was perhaps most evident in 2016, when she navigated the devastating loss of her mother, father, and sister with a fortitude that inspired everyone around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Russ Wiese; her children, Zach (Andrea) Martin and Josh (Stevi) Thalacker; her step-children, Christine Wiese and Tyler Wiese; and her adopted daughter, Brianna Brock. She was the adored grandmother to Kolton, Nora, Kason, Meera, Rockwell, and Asher.

She is further survived by her sister, Terri Miller and her children, Wyatt and Casey; and her brother, Mike (Denise) Yontz and their children, Matt, Andrew and Lauren.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Jean, and her beloved little sister, Jenny.
