Christopher Quinlan, age 53, of Mauston, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 10, 2025.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin at 11:00 AM with Fr. Luke Powers celebrating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of mass at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Oak Hall Cemetery in Fitchburg, Wisconsin following the service.
Chris was born on December 23, 1971, in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The son of Eugene Quinlan and Diane Luke. He married the love of his life Denise in May 2015 and spent 4 years together before her passing in 2019. Chris attended Wisconsin Dells High School and graduated in 1990 at the top of his class and ran on the cross-country team. Post- graduation, Chris worked as a restoration specialist for 25+ years as well as a Service Master franchise owner. In his free time, Chris enjoyed hiking, fishing, boating, and being outdoors in general. Chris was a loyal and compassionate friend, known for his unwavering kindness and generosity. He had a rare gift for making others feel valued and heard, always ready to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. His selflessness and genuine care for others left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chris is survived by his mother Diane Fletcher; his sisters, Sheri (Mark) Cupery, Shannon (Steve Wrezenski) Quinlan and Holly (Justin Guslick) Quinlan. He is also survived by his niece and nephew; Amber and Jayde Cupery and great-nephews; Kobe, Sybastian and Chrystian. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene, wife Denise, maternal grandparents Austin and Lois Luke, paternal grandparents Bernard Quinlan Sr. and Madeline Smithson.
