Clifford Plemon, age 94, of Baraboo, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin.

Clifford was born March 19, 1932 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the son of August and Josephine (Schwartz) Plemon. In 1937 he moved to Lyndon Station, WI and attended Lyndon St. Mary's grade school. He graduated from Mauston High School, Class of 1950. Clifford served in the U.S. Army from 1953 – 1955, afterward working at Libby McNeil in Hartford Wisconsin until 1964. He moved to Janesville and worked at General Motors until he retired in 1994. Clifford married Ruth "Mitzie" Podrasky on October 18, 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station. His hobbies included, picking hickory nuts, Latchhooking; he loved crafting and spent many years selling his crafts at flea markets and craft shows, he also enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Clifford is survived by his wife Ruth; children Kevin Plemon of Janesville, WI, Kimberly (Brian) Steuber of Prairie du Sac, WI, James (Tammy) Plemon and Kathleen Thomas both also of Janesville, WI; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded by his parents, son Joseph, and brothers Richard Plemon and August Jr. "Junie", and great-grandson Tommy Murray.
