Clifford Ira Yost was born on September 11, 1931, to Ira Minnie Yost and Sylvia Pearl Yost (Crown).  He was married to Genevieve Elvira Udell on May 14, 1955.  He was a member of the Portage Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 57yrs, Genevieve Yost; infant brother, Billy; Brother, Howard Yost; two sisters, Virginia and Berniece, and grandson, Jeffrey Wagner "JR". He is survived by 6 children, 23 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Danny Yost of Portage, Mark Yost of Phoenix, and Troy Yost (Sonya) of Dalton; daughters, Judy Wagner (Jeffrey) of Portage, Debra Kirscher (Peter) of Portage and Lisa Varela (Tim) of Portage; grandchildren, Genevieve and Ivy (great) Stock of Portage, Nathan Varela (Sierra) of Wisconsin Dells, Ariel Pyawasay and Nikita Yost of Dalton, and many others.

He had many that he considered his adopted children and grandchildren that are too numerous to list.  He will be greatly missed by all. Clifford spent many years working various jobs but was most proud of being an excellent truck driver and the best at washing cars while working at Wonder Wash in Portage, before retiring. Clifford had a great sense of humor, loved his wife and children very much, and was the best grandpa one could ask for. His sense of humor and appreciative manner was noticed and appreciated by his caregivers. A special thank you goes to his hospice nurse Mark for going above and beyond in his care of Clifford and his support given to our family.
