Donald Fagan, age 82 of Mauston, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Elroy Health Services in Elroy, Wisconsin.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at The Waystation in Mauston, Wisconsin.

Donald was born to the late Elwin Fagan and Juanita (Sheffer) on March 27, 1942, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives; Kathleen Fenno and Mary Fagan and daughter, Cheryl Orth.

Surviving family include his children; Donald F (Betsy) Fagan Jr, Suzette (Dominick) Fagan, Bradly (Melanie) Fagan, his step-sons; Eric (Kindra) Loferski and Troy Loferski, his brothers; Rodney Fagan, Dennis (Sue) Fagan and Al (Raquel) Fagan, his sisters; Ruby Proegler and Patricia Gregson, His loving wife, Geri Hill; and her children, Timothy J (Janie) Hill, Carrie (Mike) Hutton, Marijean (William) Arneson.

Further survived by his beloved grandchildren; Eric (Alexandria), Jonny, Jaclyn (Joriah), Madeline, Alex, Paige and Nickolas; his many cherished great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Don graduated from Shorewood High School in 1960 and was a proud Eagle Scout. He furthered his education by earning a degree in chemical engineering. Don Fagan was a loving husband, dad, stepdad, grandpa, friend and overall, a wonderful man. He liked to fish, hunt, watch old Westerns, rodeo competitions and auto racing. He was always up for a sporting event, Bucks, Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He loved going to Hayward to his cabin and fishing for muskie. Snowmobiling and four wheeling were his joy. He loved the water and his pontoon, whether it was cruising Castle Rock Lake, stopping at the local watering holes or helping construct and decorate the 'toon for the 4th of July parade of boats. Countless games of dominoes and Scrabble were played with many. You knew he liked you, if you were the recipient of his great sense of humor. Don was there to help you when you needed him. He was an honorable man that set many examples that will be carried on daily. Don made an impact on so many people and anyone who met Don is forever grateful. His relentless patience, unwavering love and kindness was simply unmatched.

He will be greatly missed but we rejoice that we will be reunited with him again one day in paradise.
