Donald Hansen, age 67, of Oxford, Wisconsin passed away with family on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his residence from a recent illness.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davis Corners United Methodist Church of Wisconsin Dells with Pastor Aaron Ramquist presiding. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00. Following the memorial service, a celebration of life will continue at the Irrigation Station (576 WI-82, Oxford, WI 53952).

Donald was born November 10, 1955 in Waterford, Wisconsin, the son of Donald and Marjorie (Rehm) Hansen. Donald was a union carpenter for 40 years working throughout Wisconsin on commercial buildings. In his younger years he was an outdoors man, hunting, fishing, bird watching and camping. He enjoyed many family vacations to South Dakota. Donald was compassionate about animals and rescued many in his days. Donald's favorite rescue was a barred owl.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Coralie Burrows, siblings, Jorie (Grant) Hansen, Heidi (Jim) Potter, Steve (Patti) Hansen, Lisa Hansen, Matthew Hansen and significant other Jennifer Kastigar. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Coralie Rose.
