Donald Rogge, age 80, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station, WI with Father Cryton Outschoorn celebrating. Military Honors will follow the Mass in front of the church. Visitation will be held at Conway-Picha Funeral Home on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Donald will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Donald was born in the living room of his childhood home on November 17, 1942, in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, the son of Edward and Katherine (Maas) Rogge. Donald married the love of his life Patsey Neubauer on August 25, 1963, and the couple just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Donald served his country as a part of the United States Air Force. He was part of the 450th Field Maintenance Crew in Minot, North Dakota. This is where he met the love of his life, Patsey. They spent 12 years in Beloit, Wisconsin where he served his apprenticeship as a steam fitter under John Pody. And he continued this career as a pipe fitter in the Beloit area. After marriage and becoming a family of 6, he and his family moved back to "Roggeville" in Lyndon Station. He and his family built their home together, where he resided until his passing. He was a well-respected, highly trained welder that would perform jobs that only one other person in the state was qualified to do. He spent his life living in a house full of kids, whether it was grandkids or babysitting kids and was "Grandpa" to them all. He was a simple man that lived a full life dressed in his signature look: bibs and a hat. Don was a diehard fan of the Packers and Badgers. He enjoyed hunting, Fresca, driving through the countryside slowing down traffic with his dog, and all Western music.

Donald is survived by his wife, Patsey; four sons, Ken Rogge, Donald (Heidee) Rogge, David Rogge, and Michael Rogge. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Edward (Emma) Rogge, sisters Maryann (George) Gore, Roseleen Jakacki, and Llene Ryczek and he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Cathleen Rogge and Marge Senzig, and brothers Joe, Richard, and Albert Rogge.
