Edward Rory Kannenberg, age 65, of Baraboo passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024 with his family by his side.

Ed was born February 24, 1959 in Baraboo, the son of Edward L. Kannenberg and Evelyn Giese. He graduated from Baraboo High School in 1977. During his work career he had many jobs that included the Mid-Continental Railway, construction and the State of Wisconsin. Ed enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, watching wildlife, playing the guitar, and fulfilling his position at "arm chair quarterback" (ACQ) for the Packers. He is survived by his girlfriend of 27 years, Brenda Herlitz, his children Eddie Kannenberg, Shelbie (Glen) Miller, and Tieler Loomis; siblings Kim (Peggy) Kannenberg, John (Wendy) Kannenberg, Matt Kannenberg, Bill (Breanna) Giese, Lisa (Jim) Bates, Jeff Giese, Kenneth (Shirley) Berghorn, and Jimmy (April) Berghorn along with many other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Edward L. Kannenberg, step-father Willard Giese and his beloved Daisy Dog. He wanted to give special thanks to Dr. Krszjzaniek, Dr Lepeak, the Hospice staff and the rest of his medical team.

There will be no services or memorials per his wishes. However, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
