Edward Rodger, age 64, of Oxford, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 surrounded by his family and friends. He lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and true friendships. Ed was born October 28, 1960 in Portage, Wisconsin, the son of Clayton and Betty (Wegert) Rodger.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Ed felt most at home in the great outdoors, whether tracking a buck at sunrise or casting a line on a quiet lake. His love for nature was only matched by the joy he found in sharing those moments with the people he cared about. Many of those special moments he shared with his daughter, Hannah, and more recently his son Cole.
Known for his ever-present smile and warm spirit, Ed never met a stranger-just a friend he hadn't gotten to know yet. His kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty made him a beloved presence in the lives of so many.
He is survived by his son, Cole (Casey) Collins, daughter Hannah, granddaughters Charlotte and Naomi, brother Bruce (Kathryn) Rodger, sisters Ginny (Jack) Blatchley Gaffney, Margie Rodger, Dolores Rodger, nieces, nephews, and countless friends and Cardinal Glass co-workers who will forever cherish the memories made with him. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lloyd.

A celebration of life memorial gathering will be held on May 17, 2025 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P.M. at the Oxford VFW, Post 6003 (N3250 1st Dr, Oxford, WI 53952)

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by spending time outdoors, telling a good story, and sharing a laugh - just as Ed would have wanted.
Ed will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
