Edythe Lynn (Johns) Thoms, age 83, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, June 26th, 2026 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at Franklin's Public House (12306 South Harlem Ave Palos Heights, IL 60463) from 12:30 to 4:00 pm.

Edythe was born on July 11th, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Slanker) Johns and later married the love of her life, Larry Thoms.

Together they built a beautiful life and raised five children. They purchased a resort in Hayward, Wisconsin, where they created countless happy memories and formed lifelong friendships.  After selling the resort, she devoted herself to her family as a homemaker, taking great pride in her home and lovingly caring for those she loved.

Later, she and her husband made their home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, where she continued to live after his passing.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and sister.

She is survived by her siblings - Arthur, Evelyn, Susan and Kathy; her children - Mark Thoms, David (Darlene) Thoms, Cyndie (Mark) Pondel, Barbara (David) Blommel, Michele (Danny) Harris; her 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
