Ellen Wolf, age 83, of Mauston, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Ellen was born November 23, 1942 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of George and Luella (Beam) Poff. She grew up most of her life in the Milwaukee area. She was married and had 4 children but later divorced. She then married the love of her life Robert “Bob”, they were married 52 years. Ellen worked and retired from Briggs and Statton in Milwaukee.

Ellen is survived by her husband Robert “Bob”; fur baby Lexie, three of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she is further survived by a sister, a brother, three sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded by her parents, two brothers, a sister and a son.

Her husband would like to extend a special “Thank you” to Tomah Health Hospice Touch and a niece that cared for Ellen in her final weeks.

Ellen will be laid to rest at the Vernon United Presbyterian Cemetery in Big Bend, Wisconsin.
