Jamie Ann Coons of Lake Delton, passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on March 6, 2026 at UW Madison hospital.

Jamie was born on November 1, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of James and Geraldine Morton. She famously loved celebrating her birthday on Halloween every year. Jamie was united in marriage to Michael Coons on April 15, 1978 at Delview Resort Lake Delton. Their marriage was blessed with 2 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Some of Jamie's favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, motorcycle rides with Mike, boating, gardening, canning, cooking and relaxing in the sun with a Corona Light.

She will be forever in our hearts and missed every day, including by her yellow-naped Amazon parrot, Kirby.

Jamie is survived by her husband Mike Coons; children Nichole (Sam) Coons, Eric (DeeAnna) Coons; grandchildren Hailee, Alijah, Jace, Jaelynn, Tyson, Teegan, Hailey, Carter and great-grandson Lucas; siblings Melanie (Jim) Wonser, Betsy (Jim) McLean, along with her extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law. Jamie is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Judy Soberwitz, Greg Morton, Rory Sarri and Mark Morton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when the weather is warmer, just as Jamie would have liked it.
