Jeremy Jo Elmer, 50, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, passed away on January 21, 2026, in his hometown. Born on April 2, 1975, in Baraboo, Jeremy spent his life rooted in the community he loved. A devoted father, son, brother, and friend, Jeremy was known for his heart of gold and unwavering dedication to those around him. His greatest joy in life was being a father to his beloved sons, Landon and Logan Elmer. He took immense pride in raising them and cherished every moment spent with them. Jeremy's love for his boys was the cornerstone of his life—he was a father first and foremost.

Jeremy had a remarkable talent for building and fixing just about anything. A true jack of all trades, he approached every project with skill and determination. Whether working with his hands or cheering on the Green Bay Packers or watching NASCAR races, Jeremy brought passion and energy to everything he did.

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Donna Elmer (Dan Curry); father, Scot Elmer, and his brother and best friend Nicholas (Jenna) Elmer as well as Katrina and Shane. He also leaves behind his cherished grandmother, Lillian Gates; the mother of his children, Angie; her parents, Lee and Nancy Howard; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Gates; grandmother, Mae Elmer: aunt, Shari Elmer and uncles, Rodney Custer and Bryan Gates as well as his cousin, Jason Hinze.

Those who knew Jeremy will remember him as a hardworking man who truly cared for everyone around him. His warmth, loyalty, and love left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Picha Funeral Home (120 E Adams St.) in Lake Delton, WI. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
