Jewel Houghton (Huuc Waxjai Ga), age 44 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin walked on Monday, July 3, 2023.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Indian Heights Community Building with Joseph WhiteEagle officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells.

Jewel was born on October 24, 1978, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Roger and Cheryl (Cleveland) Houghton Sr. She truly enjoyed Pow Wows, cookouts, food, laughing and teasing, playing board games and cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers. Most importantly to Jewel was family and friends, especially her children the "J-Crew".

She is survived by her daughters, Julia, Janessa and Joy, her father Roger Sr. Her brothers Roger Jr., Daniel Houghton, Michael Houghton, and Donte Camacho; and sister Rogina Houghton. She is preceded in death by her mother, sister Nikki, and long-time companion Joe Ybarra.
