Joyce De Long, age 87 of Oxford, Wisconsin passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 at Gundersen Mound View Memorial Hospital in Friendship, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home, (321 Washington Avenue, Wisconsin Dells, WI). Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Big Spring Cemetery in New Haven Township, Adams County, Wisconsin.

Joyce was born May 8, 1937 in  Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Joe and Helen (Goff) Pechacek.  She had a strong faith in God and the truth of His Word.  Joyce was an animal lover, especially cats.  She enjoyed feeding and watching the many birds, rabbits and deer in her yard.  However, she never came to appreciate those "darn squirrels".   She was a sharp card player right to the end.  Always ready for a good game of "31" with family and her Senior lunch friends.

Joyce is survived by a son, Curtis (Victoria) De Long; daughters, Connie (Dan) Van Straten and Debra De Long; a sister, Sue (Ron) Parson; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sons, Doug and Ron; grandson, Tim and a sister, Donna Currie.
