Judith Mason, age 75, of Baraboo, WI, passed away late on Monday, January 26, 2026 after a long road with Alzheimer's.

Judith "Judy" was born October 17, 1950 in Baraboo, Wisconsin the daughter of Levi and Ruby (Loomis) Mason. Judy was a devout Jehovah's Witness with the Baraboo congregation. Judy was an avid animal lover her entire life, always surrounded by her pets or trying to help any other animals.

Judy is survived by her daughter Lesley Holverson (Robert Schmidt), her grandchildren Jordynne Johnson and Maxwell Schmidt; her sisters, Janice Kay (Mason), Karen (Michael) Holverson, her brother Jim Mason, their children and her multiple "critters". Judy is preceded in death by her parents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and of course all of her animals that she loved along the way.

In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made directly to the family or to the Sauk County Humane Society in Judy's name.

No services are planned at this time; a celebration of life may be scheduled at a later date.
