Kenneth William Hoege, age 90, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, passed away peacefully, after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Julie Krahn officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.

Ken was born on January 28, 1936, in Greenfield Township, Sauk County, WI, the son of William and Violet (Genrich) Hoege. He married Helen Peterson at the Newport Lutheran Church on November 20, 1955. He held many jobs. Among them were milk hauler, gas station attendant, LP truck driver and carpenter. He then went into business for himself and was joined by his sons until his retirement. He enjoyed dancing at Polka Fests, motorhome trips, camping, pig-roasting, Ice fishing, snowmobiling, playing the Q-Chord and Accordion. Later in his years, he enjoyed lawn mowing, snowplowing, watching deer, cranes and turkeys.

Ken is survived by his wife, Helen of 70 years; children, Rusty (Debbie) Hoege of Wisconsin Dells, Randy (Kelly) Hoege of San Marcos, CA, Robyn Mason (Gene Dudley) and Rhonda (Dan) Ederer, both of Sauk City; brother-in-law, Pete (Mary) Peterson; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua (Leticia), Jennifer (Jeff), Andrea (Sean), Tony (Angel), Tyler (Gabi), Katie (Ian), Brandon (Amanda) and Candice (Harrison); great-grandchildren, Kaeli, Dakota, Brianna, Gavin, Aliyana, Quinn and William, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Francis and Gerald; sister, Glayds Jewell; brother-in-law, Shirley Jewell; grandson, Nicholas; in-laws, Paul and Joyce Peterson and son-in-law, Robert Mason.
