Laurel Hoilien, age 76, of Wisconsin Dells (previously of Lyndon Station) passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.

A funeral service for Laurel will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at Conway-Picha Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Laurel will be laid to rest at the Lyndon Station Village Cemetery following the service.

Laurel was born April 27, 1948, in Oak Park, Illinois. The daughter of Leslie and Irene (Slama) Jokiel. Laurel worked at Ho-Chunk for almost 20 years before retiring, she also enjoyed going to different casinos to gamble. She enjoyed going out to eat at different places and spending time with her friends and family whenever she could. Most important to Laurel was her award-winning dairy herd and she also had a fantastic memory where she would remember all the names of her cows, and she would also remember people and their names even if they had only met once before.

Laurel is survived by her brother; Leslie (Kris Simon) Jokiel. She is also survived by her special friends; Holly Strack, Greg (Courtney) Dahlke, Michele (Paul) Pittatsis, Rachel Cloud, and Mindy Carmona and her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Laurel was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda, brother Lindsey, and friends Sam and Jerry.
