Lisa J. Hammerly, age 68, of Madison, WI, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026.

Lisa's memory will live on in the hearts that knew her. May her legacy bring forth to all who mourn her passing. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Matt Gehrke officiating. A Gathering will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, immediately following.

Lisa was born on October 1, 1957, in Mauston, WI. She was the cherished daughter of Verdine and Marie (Platt) Hammerly. She graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1976. Lisa dedicated her professional life to serving her community as a clerk with the United States Post Office. Her commitment to her work reflected her strong sense of responsibility and service.

Lisa is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Jane Kazmierski and Judy Hammerly; brother and sister-in-law, David and Lana Hammerly, as well as her nieces and nephews that brought joy into her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Verdine, Sr. and Marie and her brother, Verdine, Jr.
