Martin P Kane, “Marty”, age 79, of Lake Delton, WI, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, surrounded by his wife and 2 daughters in his home.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 11:00 am. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells WI, with Father John Blewett celebrating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells, WI.

Marty was born on February 11, 1947 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Earl and Audrae (Miller) Kane.

Marty served 4 years in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Kitty Hawk. After his service, he became a skilled tradesman. He was a meat cutter, a business owner, US Postal Service Mail Carrier for 20 years, and for the last 15 years a plumbing sales specialist at Home Depot in Wisconsin Dells.

Marty enjoyed working on projects at home, working in his yard, watching “Cops” shows, also was an avid reader and loved his music! He also enjoyed good food, his Gin and Tonics and an occasional Bloody Mary. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, the love of his life and best friend. His daughters Hilary (Mark) Hopkins and Marta (Todd) Swanson; brother Earl John Jr. (Chris); sisters, Patricia (Wes) Dobbins), Audrae Barge and Mary C. Bakey; along with 6 grandchildren and an expected great-grandchild; and multiple nieces and nephews as well.

He is preceded by his parents.
