Mathew Brunn, age 55, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 as the result of a farm accident.

Matt was born August 13, 1969, to Herbert and Elizabeth (Gabris) Brunn. He graduated in 1987 from Wisconsin Dells High school. He then went on to MATC for diesel mechanics. While going to school, he worked at Kenworth in Madison and later at Pepsi, working on their fleet trucks. He has been Newports Town chairman for the last 10 years. He was a dealer for Sur Wrap selling twine, plastic, and net wrap to the neighboring farmers. If he wasn't in the field he was hauling heavy equipment, grain, hay, or concrete for M&H trucking. While he was a man of many trades, farming has always been his passion working alongside his mom and dad for many years.

He was eager to always lend a hand and help out a neighbor or friend.

He is survived by his loving family;his wife of 30 years Judy; children, Erich and Katelyn (Josh Anderson) Brunn and stepson Wally (Christin Field) Vitense, 2 sisters, many nieces and nephews, and 6 step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and dear friend Duane Langer.

Visitation will be held at Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, November 4th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a service to follow at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, WI (120 East Adams Street) with Marci Walker officiating.
