Maureen Fredrick, age 76, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Maureen was born March 24, 1947, the daughter of Kenneth and Marcella (Wegner) Cooney. She was born in Milwaukee, went to Wauwatosa West High School. She did synchronized swimming and was a straight A student. She earned the Betty Crocker Award for Home Economics. She played volleyball for years with her best friends in a women's league. Sue (her nickname from childhood) also showed Afghan Hounds and then made the switch to owning and breeding Cocker Spaniels. With her husband, she owned a small mini farm where they owned and showed horses. She was a personal banker for Central Bank/Associated Bank for over 30 years and then worked at a Vet Clinic just prior to retirement. Sue was a staunch Republican, avid dog lover, a voracious reader, Packer Fan, loved horseracing, following the Olympics, hiking and trying new restaurants and her favorite was Ishnala and their famous Brandy Old Fashions. Her and her husband Robert bought a Motorhome and traveled parts of the U.S.

Maureen is survived by her daughters, Alanna (Lani) Roux, Kristen (Roux) Garber; son-in-law Rich; granddaughters, Karsyn and Reece; stepchildren, Jackie (Bob), Bobby (Bonnie), Danny, David, (Vickie), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcella and Kenneth and her beloved husband Robert.
