Melissa Meyer, age 39, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering with Words of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Melissa (affectionately known as "Lixy" by some members of her family) was born on July 23, 1984, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After her high school graduation, she gave birth to two beautiful children, Evan and Makenna. Melissa's life was one of service and love, having an incredibly strong work ethic as a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost 20 years. Her big heart touched the lives of many, as she treated residents and families as if they were her own. She was dedicated to providing compassionate care and took great pride in her work. Melissa married Cody Meyer in January of 2020 in Medford, Wisconsin and they had 2 children together, Kayhler and Riley.

Melissa's hobbies included anything to do with animals, embracing her Italian heritage, ice fishing, camping, going on adventure walks, spending time with family and friends, taking photos, and cooking.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Cody; son, Evan Kracht; daughters, Makenna Hersi, Kayhler and Riley Meyer; paternal grandmother, Antonette Kracht; mother, Gina (Jim) Schumacher; father, Gary (Mary) Kracht and sisters, Annie (Jeff) Letkiewicz and Stephanie (Kiley) Kilkenny. She is further survived by stepbrothers, James (Jennifer) Schumacher III and Theodore (Nicole) Schumacher and stepsisters, Dana Miranda (Stefan Davis) and Megan (Justin) Kapp as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mario and Mary Rinaldi and paternal grandfather, Lowell Kracht; her aunt, Sue Mielke and her beloved dog, Billie.
