Norman G. Austin, age 72, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.

Norman was born April 26, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of David and Alice (Schmidt) Austin. Austin was the most devoted man, to his Wife, Son, job, and businesses. He never missed a day of work also running his bait shop all the time he wasn't working. Born and raised as a rebel kid in Milwaukee with no father figure, as his left when he was only 18 months old. He only went as far as 9th grade and was basically kicked out of the city to go live up North supervised by his mother and grandmother, due to all his riots, destruction, and fighting the law. Once there, he met the love of his life at "The Rock!!". Together they built a story; he did anything to help or make a wife's wish. He sold his Harley that he loved so much, to help his soon-to-be wife buy their forever home. They also would be wed in the house. He made so many memories in his small town with the Big & Little Bait shop, even the antique store on and off. He became a Icon in the community, totally remaking himself from that young man a city didn't want. Once the love of his life left 10 years ago, and the rest of his past was gone, he was a lost soul. But always a loving Grandpa and Father. Life wasn't the same, he now had the beginnings of dementia, the same as his mom; but he peacefully left to join the rest. He left his way and on his terms. Ride easy!! We all love you.

Norman is survived by his son, Norman (Stacy) Austin; grandchildren, Alyssa, Colleen, and Connor Austin and his brother, Franklin Austin. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce; his best friend, Ken Kolowski, and sister-in-law, Lynn Austin.
