Obituary

Paul Peterson, age 74, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at Picha Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the service at 11:30.
Paul was born September 11, 1950 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Kenneth and Hilda (Johnson) Peterson. He attended schools in Madison and Menomonee Falls and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a successful businessman and well respected in the printing industry world, specifically in the prepress side of rotogravure as President and Managing Director of S&M Rotogravure (later Schawk/Matthews International). He retired to his lifelong dream of a cabin in the woods with a pond where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Paul leaves behind a legacy filled with quick wit and humor, wisdom, and love. A loving father and respected professional, Paul's impact on his family and friends was profound.
He was known for his contagious sense of humor, love for singing, knowledge of history, and unwavering support and love for his family. Paul's memory will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know him.
Paul is survived by his daughters, JoAnna Peterson (son Paul), Jamie (James) Heberer (sons Adam, Lincoln, and William) and Jessica (Andrew) Rupnow (daughter Sofia and son Elijah) and his brother Jim "Fox" (Barb) Peterson. He is preceded in death by his father Ken and mother Hilda, and brothers Bob, Dave (survived by JoAnne), and John.
