Richard Alan Young, age 77 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away on Friday July 28, 2023 at Journey Home, the V.A. hospice care center in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Richard was born January 24, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Daniel and Margaret (Gazda) Young. Rich entered the United States Army in January of 1963. He was stationed in Germany during the Viet Nam War and was a jack-of-all-trades. He worked in the Chicago Steel Mills and after moving to Wisconsin he worked in multiple trades; Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Concrete, Tile and Roofing. He was a very all around skilled hard worker. Rich enjoyed hunting, fishing, making home movies, and loved reading.

Rich is survived by his sons, Richard Young, Jr.(Kim Lawry), James (Holly) Young; stepchildren, Kenneth (Debbie) Mironas, and Tina Crawford (Craig Shroeder); 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Margaret; brother, Raymond Young, and granddaughter, Taylor Macrafic.
