Robert "Bob" Jarvais, age 64 of Mauston, Wisconsin, formerly of Blackwell, Wisconsin died Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence in Mauston.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held at the Wabeno town hall on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

Bob was born May 16, 1957 in Laona, Wisconsin the son of Francis and Mayme (Bessette) Jarvais. He was a simple, yet amazing man. Bob was a Vietnam War veteran that served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He had an extensive career in law enforcement, retiring as Captain after 28 years with the Forest County Sheriff's Department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors, even took up logging with horses after retirement. He was a farmer at heart, his biggest passions being cows and horses. Most of all he was an amazing father, son, brother and friend.

Bob is survived by his special goose Pumpkin Puss; his beloved children, Richard Olinger, Krystal (Brian) Karbowski, April (Aaron) Pedersen; precious grandchildren, Kelsi (Max) Olinger and Hunter Shockto; mother of his children, Kookie; and sisters, Julie (Rick) Osmunson and Karen Mayo. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, John, Jim, Gene and Diane; daughter, Jessie and grandson, Asher.
