Robert "Bob" Clark Waydick, age 72, of Wisconsin Dells, WI passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home surrounded by his wonderful family after a short battle with pancreatic, kidney and lung cancer.

Per Bob's request, no service at this time, but a celebration of life will be held summer of 2024.

Bob was born June 1, 1951, in Milwaukee, WI, the only child, to Ernest and Viola (Cole) Waydick. The family, shortly after Bob's birth, moved back to the Dells where he resided his whole 72 years as a 3rd generation Wisconsin Dells, WI resident. He attended WI Dells elementary and high school, graduating in 1969.

Bob began working in the summers, at age 14 parking cars at Mr. Pancake Restaurant, where his mother worked as baker for many years for Chuck and Diane Thompson and Bill Hutchens. He worked there for many years advancing to cook and then manager for various restaurants the Thompson's owned. He began to work at Big Joe Manufacturing Co. in 1976 where he retired from in 2020.

Bob married Sally (Fish) on June 22, 1973, and celebrated 50 years together June 2023. This union produced 2 sons, Daniel (Glenna) of Summit, MS, and Jesse (Veronika) of Wisconsin Dells. These 2 marvelous sons and wives produced 5 amazing grandchildren: Bailey, Lillie and Blake of Summit, MS and Maxim and Alex of Wisconsin Dells. Bob lived for his family and never said "no" to any one of them…well, hardly! He was lovingly referred to as "Grampa Bob" to the southern grandkids, and "Da" to his northern grandkids. Bob was content to stay home and care for his family, home, garden, and yard. He was an active member of the Adam's County Sno-Streaker's snowmobile club, serving as club president for many years in the 1980's-90's. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling to and from MS to see his "southern" family.

Bob is survived by his immediate family; many cousins, great neighbors, Tom and Nancy Anen, Barb Drolson and Duane Deering; great friends, Rusty and Debbie Hoege, and Gary and Diana Fish. He is preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Jack and Lois (Hendricksen) Fish, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to give tremendous thanks to our Big Joe Manufacturing, St Clare Hospital, Miron Corporation, and Diamond Offshore Drilling families for their kindness and support. We also would like to give special thanks to SSM Palliative care team in Baraboo, SSM Hospice, and Dr. James Huen for their care, support, guidance, and compassion throughout bob's short illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the family would be greatly appreciated.
