Roger Deering, age 63, of Poynette, Wisconsin passed away after battling with cancer on Monday, August 5, 2024.

Private family services will be held.

Roger was born October 14, 1960 in Baraboo, Wisconsin the son of Duane and Mary (Ferge) Deering Sr. He was an avid fisherman and huntsman and he enjoyed camping. Roger was a hands-on guy and had a great work ethic; working for many, many golf courses; Hamm Brothers in Mauston, Tree Acres and LK Enterprises in Plover, as a private contractor, St. Vincent de Paul in Mauston and for the Park and Recreation of Juneau County.

He is survived by his brothers, Duane (Barb Drolson), Fritz (Rachel), John (Michelle); sister, Amber McFaul and very close friends, Tim and Karen Duffy. He is preceded in death by his parents, niece Becky and brother-in-law John Mcfaul.
