Ronald Kaplan, age 72, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Aspirus Divine Savior in Portage, WI.

Funeral services were private.

Ronald was born February 2, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Lawrence and Sylvia (Siegan) Kaplan. He married Michele Kirkland on May 21, 1995 and resided in Waukegan, IL. Ron retired from EMCO Chemical Distributors in 2016 before moving to Wisconsin Dells with his wife.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Michele; his cherished daughter, Leah (Dan) Kolcz of Libertyville, IL; his devoted son, Marc (Donna) Kaplan of Antioch, IL; step-children, Lisa (Vance) Brown of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Scott Kirkland of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Phil (Jan) Kaplan of Glendale, AZ, Ken (Sheri) Kaplan of Scottsdale, AZ and 5 grandchildren, Beau Kolcz, Everett Kaplan, Callen Kolcz, Oliver Kaplan and Erica Brown. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Troy A. Brown.
