Rosemary Thundercloud, Homi\na\kpi\i\u\wi\, "She who keeps her den clean", age 74 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, walked on Monday, March 9, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin with Richard Mann officiating. Visitation will be held at Conway Picha Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11th, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells.

Rosie was born December 9, 1951 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, the daughter of Richard and Alberta (Miner) Day. She was married to Samuel Thundercloud for over 54 years and was a great wife; loved taking care of her family and also unofficially adopted many younger people as well. Rosie was an enthusiastic sports fan. She loved to watch Wisconsin Dells High School competitions, Sam's softball games, Green Bay Packers football, Milwaukee Brewers baseball and Wisconsin Badgers. She also greatly loved her great-grandchildren.

Rosie is survived by her husband, Sam; son, Matthew (Jenny) and Tim (Sarah) Decorah, who she treated like a son; daughter, April; brothers, Michael (Nancy), Patrick, Kevin (Marcia) and Jim (Carol) and a sister, Helene Day; along with her 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Brennan, Courtney, Brandy, Callie, Abbie, Bailey, Aaliyah, and Maddalyn and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Deborah Weaver, Jean-Ann Day and Fredericka Day; two grandsons, Brockton and Kaleb, and her two unofficial sons, Alex and Jordan.
